Supplying and replacing an instant water heater starts from $250, and a storage water heater from $500, with the unit included. The price rises with the tank size and the brand, and with any pipework at the heater that needs replacing. The electrical connection by a Licensed Electrical Worker is quoted separately. Either works. We supply and install Rheem, Joven, Champs or Ariston heaters, or fit one you've already purchased. We'll quote both the supply (if needed) and the installation upfront. Either way, the installation carries our 30-day workmanship warranty. A heater we supply also carries its manufacturer's warranty, and one you bought keeps the warranty it came with.

We handle the plumbing installation. The electrical connection of a water heater must be done by a Licensed Electrical Worker, a separate trade from ours. We arrange that visit so it lines up with ours, and the electrical work is quoted separately from the heater price.

Work that needs a PUB Licensed Plumber is carried out by one of our PUB Licensed Plumbers. If your job needs one, we say so when we quote. Licensed work costs more, and we tell you the price before we start. You can also ask for a licensed plumber on any job.

Yes, and it is a common swap when a bathroom is being redone, but it is not a straight replacement. The two types sit in different places, need different pipework runs, and draw power differently, so the electrical supply has to suit the new unit. We look at what is already there and tell you what the change involves before you buy anything, so the replacement guide prices are only a starting point here. The electrical side is arranged with a Licensed Electrical Worker and quoted separately.

Usually high on a wall or tucked into the ceiling recess above the bathroom, so access matters as much as space. It needs to stay reachable for servicing later, sit where the wall can carry the weight of a full tank, and have its pipework and relief discharge arranged so that any future leak is not first discovered by the ceiling below.
